About the role

  • Care Manager overseeing client management for disability insurance in Vaud, Switzerland. Collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring timely returns to work for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct courtesy visits in cases of sickness-related loss of earnings
  • Negotiate to reach consensual solutions that enable a swift return to work in cases where the absence is work-related
  • Contact various stakeholders (employer, unemployment office, disability insurance (AI), etc.) and coordinate actions to achieve a win–win–win outcome (employer – employee – insurer)
  • Negotiate with lawyers, unions, and/or insurers

Requirements

  • Legal qualification or Federal Diploma in Insurance
  • Proven professional experience in personal insurance preferred
  • Ideally, experience in labor/employment law and/or mediation
  • Excellent spoken and written French (German is an asset) and proficiency with common IT tools (MS Office)
