About the role

  • Executive Manager responsible for managing high value agribusiness clients and leading a team of relationship managers at Rabobank. Ensuring balanced risk, reward, and sustainability in a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of high value MAC clients
  • Managing a team of up to [6] MAC Relationship Managers
  • Proactive engagement with clients, prospects and stakeholders
  • Setting the right tone at the top and exercising management oversight
  • Balancing commercial and prudential outcomes
  • Driving change management

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
  • Experienced relationship manager/business banker with at least 15 years of experience in broad Rural and Business/Corporate Banking
  • Experience to articulate and proficiently present to Credit Committees and/or Credit Authorities
  • Proven track record in new business generation and relationship management
  • Intimate understanding of the Australian rural debt market
  • Diverse agricultural and commodity knowledge
  • Experience in growing and managing a portfolio of sophisticated and complex clients
  • Confidently interact with the Bank’s Food & Agribusiness Research teams
  • Identify and drive process change
  • Effective negotiator and facilitator
  • Effective Deal Team leader
