Responsibilities
Solution Scoping, Development & Proposal Support
Utilise your technical skills and knowledge to scope appropriate risk and resilience solutions to client needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling proposals, proof of concepts, and responses to RFPs.
Client Relationship Management
Engage and share knowledge across existing and new clients.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Conduct initial client meetings to understand their climate risk challenges and objectives.
Manage client communications throughout the sales process.
Lead Generation & Opportunity Development
Identify and research potential clients and sectors in New Zealand and abroad.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using Hubspot.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input
Monitor industry trends, sector priorities, and regulatory developments in natural hazard risk management and climate adaptation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Preferably 2-5 years of client relationship management or business development experience.
Understanding of climate change impacts and adaptation challenges in New Zealand.
Proven track record in achieving business development goals and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Experience with CRM systems and proposal writing preferred.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value propositions.
