About the role
- Cloud Solutions Architect responsible for cloud computing initiatives at Cayuse. Designing and implementing cloud infrastructures and architectures that are scalable and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architectures that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
- Build and configure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, and CloudFormation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design/develop solutions
- Migrate legacy applications to cloud platforms by refactoring them to microservices, serverless, or container-based architectures
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Implement automation for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices to streamline development and operational processes
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to ensure solutions meet business objectives and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in designing, building, and troubleshooting cloud-native solutions
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in designing solutions using modern development stacks (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python)
- Knowledge of critical federal and state cybersecurity and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, CMMC)
