About the role

  • Customer Service Representative providing support and building relationships for Univar Solutions. Engaging with customers primarily via phone to resolve orders and inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first class service by talking directly and honestly with customers
  • Working closely with Account Manager to build relationships with dedicated customer base
  • Processing orders, organising returns, identifying where improvements can be made
  • Communicating primarily on the telephone, but also via email and using CRM tools
  • Understanding, prioritising and escalating customer issues, following through to resolution

Requirements

  • Very comfortable using a PC, Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software, ideally SAP
  • Delight in investigating customer problems, getting to the root cause and putting them right
  • Friendly, organised and resilient
