About the role

  • Head of Partnerships at UMO overseeing strategic partnerships in fintech and managing product capabilities across international markets. Focusing on UAE and GCC, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners required for product development and service launch.
  • Lead and moderate partnerships across: Banks and financial institutions, Payment systems, PSPs, and card processors, Liquidity providers and trading venues, IT and infrastructure vendors, Blockchain networks and Web3 protocols.
  • Own the full partner lifecycle: sourcing, due diligence, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, including pricing, SLAs, liability, and scalability terms.
  • Ensure alignment between partner capabilities, product roadmap, regulatory requirements, and technical architecture.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to enable partner integrations.
  • Manage partner performance, escalations, and contract renewals.
  • Continuously assess market alternatives to optimize cost, resilience, and scalability of the partner stack.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles in fintech, banking, crypto, or financial infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of: Banking & BaaS models, Payment rails and card ecosystems, Liquidity providers, exchanges, and trading infrastructure, Blockchain and Web3 ecosystems.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex commercial and partnership agreements.
  • International experience, with strong exposure to the UAE and GCC markets.
  • Ability to translate product and regulatory requirements into partner-ready solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
