Registered Nurse opportunity as a House Administrator coordinating patient care functions in Michigan. Role includes providing crisis management and leadership in hospital settings.
Responsibilities
Coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization.
Collaborates to provide crisis management and interpret policy and procedures.
Makes decisions and acts on behalf of the leadership team.
Demonstrates leadership skills of delegation, organization, and coordination in the assigned shift.
Responds to all codes, patient falls, emergencies, and workplace violence events throughout the hospital.
Monitors hospital operations by integrating data from electronic systems and personal communications.
Conducts rounds on units to identify patient and colleague needs and implement shared decisions.
Ensures safety and quality of patient care by allocating and redirecting resources.
Coordinates the organizational response during times of high census.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
RN License in State of Michigan required.
Certification: BLS required.
Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience required. 5 years preferred.
Progressive experience in health care including involvement in direct patient care, educating staff, supervising staff, and problem solving of unit or organizational issues.
