About the role

  • Pension Administrator providing day-to-day pension support for 15,000 employees across multiple companies. Join Solvd. and contribute to the success of our payroll team in Glasgow.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurately calculating all pension related data. Entering data onto Payroll system or passing details to the relevant Payroll Administrator.
  • Ensuring all Pension transaction reports, and contribution files are sent to pension providers in line with designated timelines.
  • Dealing with Pension queries from employees and Pension providers both in writing or by telephone
  • Reconciliation of Pension reports from Payroll
  • Annual or period Pension tier changes are checked and uploaded as per deadlines.
  • Annual Reassessments are created, checked, and provided to Payroll Operations Manager to upload into Payroll system by dedicated time.
  • Providing employee Pension estimates.
  • Accurately maintaining all employee pension records.
  • Ensuring all Payroll Manuals/ Workflows are kept up to date
  • Maintaining RMPI portal and ensuring Payroll Administrators update accurately or Pension interface has uploaded successfully.
  • Training Payroll Administrators on Pension calculations when required with pension providers to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information is held on both our systems and their systems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of pension schemes and rules.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Proficient in use of MS Excel (spreadsheets).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines and with competing priorities
  • Build strong relationships, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders
