About the role

  • SAP Basis Administrator managing our SAP ECC environment and handling software tools and integrations. Ensuring high availability and performance in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SAP ECC systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Perform system installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
  • Conduct regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and maintain add-on software tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of these add-ons within the SAP landscape.
  • Manage SAP integration with various boundary applications, including banks and TMS systems.
  • Ensure robust and secure data exchanges between SAP and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement and manage SaaS connections for boundary applications, ensuring seamless integration with SAP.
  • Work with vendors and external partners to maintain and optimize these connections.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and resolve issues promptly.
  • Participate in SAP projects, including system enhancements, migrations, and new implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
  • Proven experience with SAP ECC and add-ons installation and Maintenance
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections with boundary applications.
  • Hands-on experience with SAAS installations and Maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proven experience with IBM AIX and RHEL system administration and Sybase ASE database administration for SAP: installation, patching, performance optimization, backup/restore, and high availability configurations.
