About the role

  • Head of Sales in Defence responsible for market entry and portfolio development. Leading sales strategies and building key partnerships in the Defence sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for the Defence area and successfully launch offerings
  • Build a robust sales funnel and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract closing
  • Develop commercially viable proposals based on our consulting expertise (including Operations, Logistics & SCM, digitalisation) and position TMG as a reliable partner
  • Identify and pursue relevant tenders while taking regulatory frameworks into account
  • Establish and maintain key client relationships (e.g., OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers) and develop partnerships within the Defence ecosystem
  • Work closely with our directors and CC leaders, including refining the service portfolio for the Defence market

Requirements

  • Excellent degree in a technical or business-related field, ideally with an MBA or PhD
  • Several years of proven, successful sales experience in the Defence environment
  • Strong network with Defence OEMs and systems integrators and familiarity with decision-making and procurement processes
  • Background in consulting with a solid understanding of production/manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
