B2B Sales Manager for a SaaS startup modernizing workforce management in the railway industry. Developing sales pipelines and managing the full sales cycle for B2B clients in transportation sectors.
Responsibilities
Build and develop a pipeline: Take over qualified leads from the SDR team and additionally generate your own opportunities through strategic outbound and networking in the SMB and enterprise segments
Own the sales cycle: Manage the entire sales process from discovery calls through compelling product demos to successful closing
Monitor market trends and competitors, develop new outreach concepts, and position Menlo79 strategically in the market
Use our CRM (HubSpot) to maintain your pipeline accurately, for reporting, and for continuous optimization of your processes
Requirements
You have solid experience in B2B SaaS sales as an Account Executive, (Key) Account Manager, SDR, sales representative, customer advisor, sales manager, Sales Executive or in a comparable role; career changers from mobility, transport and logistics who are eager to move into sales are also welcome
Industry knowledge and relevant networks in mobility, transport and logistics as well as a good understanding of the needs and challenges of customers in this sector are a strong plus
You have a true hunter mentality — you are passionate about new customer acquisition and are motivated rather than discouraged by setbacks
You can identify challenges in potential customers' business processes and have a strong sense of how software can address them, allowing you to clearly articulate customer value
You bring high self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership, work independently and in a structured way, and feel at home in a dynamic environment
Experience with common CRM tools (we use HubSpot) and a solid understanding of B2B sales methodologies are required
Native-level German and very good English complete your profile
