Responsibilities
Business development & acquisition: You identify new business opportunities, manage your pipeline and forecast, cultivate long-term client relationships, and are independently responsible for acquiring projects in the manufacturing sector.
Key account development: You systematically grow key accounts and expand our network across the DACH industrial market.
Strategic partnerships: You develop pioneering strategies together with C‑level decision-makers, support complex transformation programs and ensure sustainable impact.
Consulting: You design and deliver programs for the manufacturing industry.
Leadership & company culture: You embody our corporate culture as a leader and take responsibility for the development of our team.
Thought leadership: You position TMG Consultants as a thought leader in consulting, create innovative advisory approaches and represent the firm at the highest level.
Commercial responsibility: You actively contribute to the company’s commercial success, assume growth and P&L responsibility for the manufacturing portfolio and help shape strategic corporate decisions.
Innovation & excellence: As a member of the partner group, you continuously advance our consulting methods, refine our methodological toolbox and set new standards for excellent client service.
Requirements
Several years of experience in a senior role within management consulting with proven success in client acquisition and project ownership, with a focus on the manufacturing industry.
Deep expertise in the manufacturing sector, strategic thinking and the ability to analyse and shape complex interdependencies.
Excellent academic degree (ideally a PhD) in a relevant discipline from a reputable university.
Outstanding commercial skills (pipeline management, value propositions, proposals & pricing, C‑level negotiation) and a resilient professional network.
Excellent ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships at C‑level.
Authentic leadership presence with the ability to inspire teams and enable high performance.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills in German and English.
Passion for business development and a willingness to take responsibility.
