About the role

  • Engineering/Technical Sales Manager at Timoney Technology developing sales strategies in the driveline systems market. Overseeing key accounts and collaborating with engineering for customer proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Manage key accounts and identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to develop customer proposals
  • Take a lead role in customer meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer opportunities, and sales activities in Pipedrive CRM.
  • Attend major exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Review and improve existing sales processes to enable the sales team to focus on winning business for the Company.
  • Support prospecting and market research initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or a similar role.
  • Experience managing international key accounts
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering products and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Delivery on commitments.
  • Requirement for travel.
  • An ability to work independently and operate in a team environment.
  • Must have permission to work in Ireland.
