  • Regional Sales Manager managing individual contributor sales teams at Avnet, a leading global technology distributor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage individual contributor sales account managers and independent representatives
  • Strategize, develop, implement, and monitor business goals and operating plans
  • Monitor sales levels and targets for improvement
  • Prepare annual sales forecast and review business plans with management
  • Coach team members to ensure optimum customer relationships
  • Provide leadership and management direction to the sales support staff
  • Create demand for products and services using technical market expertise
  • Establish and coordinate meetings for opportunity reviews and business reviews
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, competitors, and technology

Requirements

  • 6+ years in sales and 2+ years in supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
