About the role

  • Sales Manager B2B overseeing customer acquisition, sales planning, and project management. Working in a team-oriented environment to achieve sales objectives in the food and beverage sector.

Responsibilities

  • Customer acquisition and retention: develop and expand long-term customer relationships and proactively identify and win new business customers within the sales territory.
  • Sales planning and budget responsibility: accountable for planning, executing and achieving the regional sales budget to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Project and proposal management: handle and close sales projects, including proposal costing, follow-up and measures to strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Contract and win-back management: carry out customer loss analyses, develop win-back strategies and prepare and monitor contracts, including action planning in case of deviations.
  • Complaint handling and customer satisfaction: ensure customer satisfaction through professional handling of feedback and complaints.
  • Sales reporting and external representation: prepare sales reports and analyses to steer sales activities and represent the company at trade shows and events.

Requirements

  • Initial professional experience in sales, ideally in the B2B area
  • Knowledge of the food or beverage industry or relevant expertise in this sector is mandatory
  • Confident user of common MS Office applications and experience with an ERP system
  • Very good German and English language skills are required
  • High willingness to travel is expected
  • Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills, strong organizational talent and an independent, structured working style complete your profile
