Responsibilities
Own and close new customer opportunities, with a focus on government and public sector accounts
Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic networking
Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through RFI/RFP, proposal development, negotiation, and contract award
Develop and execute territory plans focused on new logo acquisition, contract vehicles, and long-term public sector growth
Run in-depth discovery conversations to uncover customer needs and align solutions
Deliver compelling presentations and formal proposals that articulate Cerio’s value, ROI, and alignment to government evaluation criteria
Manage complex sales processes, including procurement protocols, multi-stakeholder buying committees, and regulated negotiations
Forecast revenue accurately, accounting for government budget cycles and approval timelines, and maintain pipeline visibility within the CRM
Requirements
Proven success closing new business and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Experience selling complex or emerging technology markets (Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure or Server, Data Center environments preferred) into Federal/Provincial Government
Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and deal discipline
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating independently in a growth-stage company
Proficiency with CRM tools and sales forecasting
Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites across Canada and/or the U.S.
