Responsibilities
Responsible for order processing and sales-related support to both internal and external customers
Provide legendary customer service including prompt and thorough responses to customer inquiries
Coordinate all aspects of order management from pricing & quoting, order entry, delivery, and invoicing
Receive customer inquiries, verify/identify parts against original pump specifications, and obtain current part costs
Prepare and send proposals to internal or external customers
Review customer orders for accuracy against proposals and gather required customer information
Maintain accurate records for costs and selling prices
Requirements
College degree, preferably in a technical field OR 2+ years of equivalent work experience in a customer support position
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Prior experience providing customer support and supporting projects
Technical aptitude: ability to understand bills of materials and technical drawings
Basic Math Skills
Able to engage with suppliers to obtain quotations and support parts and service proposals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workforce and customer base in a matrixed organization
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
