Responsibilities
Provide management and direction to remote laboratory staff at client sites
Provide administrative resources for employee activities and needs
Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff
Ensure staff responsiveness and overall client satisfaction
Meet regularly with client contacts to monitor the technical performance of staff and their project timeliness
Track Key Performance Indicators and metrics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 8+ years’) OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable 6+ years’)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Proven leadership skills with an ability to train and mentor junior staff
Pharmaceutical experience required
Ability to independently develop project proposals and plans
Demonstrated understanding of the bid process and can apply expertise of others to develop programs to meet unique client needs
Understanding of basic financial terms and definitions as it applies to the business
Ability to cultivate a collaborative work environment with a team
Effective written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
