About the role

  • Junior Key Account Manager supporting Dutch market growth within a dynamic Commercial Team. Collaborating with sales and marketing to develop key retail partnerships and drive business performance.

Responsibilities

  • You support the Key Account Management team in day-to-day operations and strategic projects.
  • You manage and develop relationships with key retail partners and collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams.
  • You take ownership of your own customer portfolio and ensure long-term, trust-based partnerships.
  • You develop tailored account strategies to maximize growth opportunities and ensure consistent product availability.
  • You identify market trends and customer insights to develop actionable initiatives that drive business performance.
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and lead strategic negotiations at regional and national levels

Requirements

  • You bring at least 2 years of professional experience as a Field Sales Representative, Account Manager, Buyer or comparable discipline, ideally in the FMCG or retail sector, or in a comparable field.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • You have strong conceptual and analytical skills and can quickly understand and structure complex topics.
  • You are proactive, assertive, and confident in handling challenges.
  • You communicate effectively and persuasively and bring excellent selling skills to the table.
  • You are a reliable, motivated team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken); French is a strong plus.
