Responsibilities
Lead and grow publisher partnerships: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of publishers, building deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Drive commercial outcomes: Negotiate and manage contracts to secure long-term, mutually beneficial agreements and increase overall value.
Unlock growth through insights: Analyse publisher performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvements in revenue, readership, and retention.
Expand our content portfolio: Pitch, negotiate and onboard new publishers – with a particular focus on newspapers and international magazine brands.
Support publisher success: Empower publishers to use Readly's tools and analytics, ensuring they understand our platform, revenue model and how to act on insights.
Be Readly’s voice in the industry: Represent us at market meetings, task forces and events, strengthening our brand and relationships across the publishing ecosystem.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with colleagues in Marketing, Product and Analytics to deliver a seamless and impactful publisher experience.
Contribute globally: Share knowledge, learnings and best practices across markets to support our international content strategy and team development.
Requirements
Experience in business development, account management or partnerships (media/publishing preferred but not essential)
Pitch and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes
Excellent presentation and communication skills, confident with senior stakeholders
Highly organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple objects and priorities
A genuine interest in media, news and digital publishing
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights and communicate them clearly
Comfortable explaining platform economics and value creation to a range of stakeholders
Fluent/native English and fluent in Swedish (additional languages such as German are a plus)
