About the role

  • Account Manager overseeing Readly’s international content portfolio and driving publisher partnerships and growth. Engage publishers to enhance content offering and drive the company's commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow publisher partnerships: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of publishers, building deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial outcomes: Negotiate and manage contracts to secure long-term, mutually beneficial agreements and increase overall value.
  • Unlock growth through insights: Analyse publisher performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvements in revenue, readership, and retention.
  • Expand our content portfolio: Pitch, negotiate and onboard new publishers – with a particular focus on newspapers and international magazine brands.
  • Support publisher success: Empower publishers to use Readly's tools and analytics, ensuring they understand our platform, revenue model and how to act on insights.
  • Be Readly’s voice in the industry: Represent us at market meetings, task forces and events, strengthening our brand and relationships across the publishing ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with colleagues in Marketing, Product and Analytics to deliver a seamless and impactful publisher experience.
  • Contribute globally: Share knowledge, learnings and best practices across markets to support our international content strategy and team development.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, account management or partnerships (media/publishing preferred but not essential)
  • Pitch and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, confident with senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple objects and priorities
  • A genuine interest in media, news and digital publishing
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights and communicate them clearly
  • Comfortable explaining platform economics and value creation to a range of stakeholders
  • Fluent/native English and fluent in Swedish (additional languages such as German are a plus)
