Responsibilities
Supporting human resources organizational capability
Supporting, driving, and implementing HR initiatives to increase organizational effectiveness
Leading on-boarding activities for hourly and salaried workforce
Supporting implementation of talent development and learning efforts to meet organizational needs
Facilitating business performance by utilizing knowledge of the business and interrelationships to influence strategy and decision-making
Contributing to human resource compliance efforts by ensuring guidelines and policies are consistent and enforced
Overcoming obstacles to delivering quality HR services
Educating others on available technology, shared services, HR services, and procedures to meet customer needs
Supporting wage surveys
Identifying opportunities and recommending changes to increase performance, reduce costs, and positively impact metrics
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or graduate degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline preferred
PHR or SHRM certification preferred
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required, with 1 year in a leadership capacity
Competent in Labor/Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection, Benefits and Compensation
Ability to work and communicate effectively with others across levels and functions while working on multiple tasks in a matrix organization
Working knowledge of state and federal laws along with practical application
Experience in administering FMLA, affirmative action planning, workers' compensation management, and unemployment
Ability to facilitate training/learning in large group presentations
Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
