Territory Sales Manager responsible for sales and service activities in Central New Jersey. Promoting and supporting TerrAscend’s portfolio of cannabis products to clients.
Responsibilities
Present, promote, and sell TerrAscend’s products and services to existing and new customers
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships to ensure long-term sales opportunities
Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, etc.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the marijuana industry in general, noting key players, pivotal techniques, emerging trends, and overall status of the industry within designated territory
Partner with Supply Chain team and TerrAscend grow and process teams to ensure efficient supply to meet demand
Weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs, benchmarks, and ongoing sales pipeline
Meet and exceed company weekly and monthly metrics and KPIs
Expand TerrAscend’s market share and reach within designated territory
Requirements
3-5 years of successful B2B or Retail sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring new accounts and developing existing accounts within the cannabis industry.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Ability to travel ~80% of the time within designated territory; must have reliable transportation.
Working knowledge of state-specific Medical Marijuana program preferred but not required.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and other standard computer applications.
Experience utilizing Sales tracking platform for customer data, sales information, market competition, and reporting.
Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve time-sensitive results.
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
Excellent prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with customers in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
