About the role

Responsibilities
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the estimating department
- Management, coordination and quality assurance of all tender and contract estimates for turnkey building construction projects, with a focus on residential construction
- Responsibility for the strategic direction of estimating and the development of estimating processes, methods and standards
- High-level review of complex tender estimates
- Responsibility for assessing opportunities, risks and cost trends and deriving appropriate measures
- Support and participation in contract negotiations, and attendance at procurement and strategy meetings with clients
- Close collaboration with project management, design/planning, procurement and work preparation
- Development, maintenance and optimization of key figures, bases and benchmarks for estimating
- Leading, developing and motivating the estimating team, including coaching and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, further training as a construction technician, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in estimating turnkey building construction projects and initial leadership or management experience
- Excellent knowledge of estimating, cost estimation and cost control for complex construction projects
- Proficient in MS Office and common estimating and BIM-related software solutions (e.g., IBIS-Trad, Nevaris, Solibri)
- Strong commercial/entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of cost and results responsibility
- Very good technical and commercial understanding
- Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
- Leadership skills, assertiveness and communication ability
- High level of responsibility, commitment and team orientation
- German language skills at C1 level are required for this position
