Legal Intern assisting with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating banking software contracts for Temenos. Collaborating with legal and operations teams while gaining insights into various support activities.
Responsibilities
Participate in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of software and cloud services as well as professional services agreements, and other customer-facing contracts relating to the company’s suite of products aimed at the financial services industry
Research legal questions and participate in providing advice to operational and sales teams regarding a multitude of issues arising in the contract negotiation process, including most notably data security issues and risk management
Work in close cooperation with the Legal Team and gain insight into other legal support activities, including the areas of human resources, marketing, IT, and procurement
Requirements
J.D. (1L or 2L) or LL.M. candidate
You should have the capability to learn quickly and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
You should have good communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
You should be adept at quickly building rapport with internal stakeholders
You should have a fascination for working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment for a multi-national company or multi-national clients
You should have expressed interest in software technology, banking, or fintech
You should have basic computer and office software skills
Knowledge about computer software and cloud computing applications is a plus
