About the role

  • Membership and Program Director for the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Managing membership services and educational programming with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the membership database, including data entry, renewals, and updates
  • Respond to member inquiries and provide general membership support
  • Support planning and coordination of educational programs and events
  • Assist with program logistics including registration tracking and materials preparation
  • Facilitate committee meetings including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow up
  • Attend virtual meetings and prepare and distribute accurate meeting notes
  • Provide general administrative support as needed
  • Assist with occasional in-person meetings and events within Massachusetts

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Must maintain reliable internet access
  • Ability for occasional travel and in-person support
  • Experience with Zoom, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Suite
  • Preferred: Experience with nonprofit or professional associations
  • Preferred: Experience with membership databases or AMS systems (Wild Apricot)
