About the role

  • Associate Attorney managing client relations and legal strategy development in personal injury cases. Responsible for communications, legal research, court representation, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain contact with clients from assignment through settlement.
  • Develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for discovery, investigation, mediation, handling and trial/hearing of cases; represent clients in court and/or agencies
  • Research applicable legal remedies for cases or clients
  • Submit necessary and appropriate documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions and/or settlement negotiations as required.
  • Conduct appropriate discovery, hearings, trials depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and/or other legal proceedings relevant to personal injury.
  • Meet with and/or communicate with clients ensuring proper communication and understanding of case proceedings throughout the case.
  • Negotiate case settlement’s as appropriate
  • Provide direction to Personal Injury Team Lead and Case Managers as it pertains to cases assigned.
  • Act as a team member of the attorney team, personal injury case manager team, and other respective firm team’s.
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of the law and firm
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations
  • Meet expectations of GRACES protocol at all time to ensure client satisfaction with services rendered by the firm.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
