Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret regulations governing the financial sector, including rules from the Central Bank of Brazil, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, and others.
- Assess the legal feasibility of new products and services, issuing legal opinions that address risks and regulatory compliance.
- Advise on preventing legal issues by providing guidance during the development of products and services to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and evaluate legal risks associated with financial products and services, proposing measures to mitigate them.
- Participate in the implementation of new products and services, ensuring that processes and systems comply with laws and regulations.
- Draft and review contracts, terms of use, policies, and other legal documents related to products, services, and vendors.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including technical teams, managers, and clients.
- Analyze data, identify patterns and trends, and propose evidence-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development and business teams, to ensure the legal compliance of products and services.
Requirements
- Law degree — active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Strong negotiation skills and experience structuring complex transactions.
- Project leadership experience.
- Analytical, strategic profile with a focus on regulatory solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to varied audiences.
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and to new technologies.
