About the role

  • Marketing Manager for Tagesspiegel Background focusing on online and growth strategies. Oversee digital marketing efforts and stakeholder communications in a dynamic media organization.

Responsibilities

  • Digital marketing and performance planning, implementation and continuous optimization of online marketing campaigns across the entire sales funnel (Awareness → Lead Nurturing → Conversion)
  • Expansion and management of paid social campaigns (especially LinkedIn) based on ICP, Hook, Dream Outcome, Proof & CTA (in line with our existing strategy)
  • Develop politically clear, precise messaging for different stakeholder groups
  • Responsibility for the digital positioning of the new "Security & Defense" briefing
  • Creation and optimization of landing pages, email newsletter flows and social media assets for lead generation
  • Editing and sending politically relevant newsletters, product updates and nurturing sequences
  • Analysis, reporting & optimization – monitoring relevant marketing and communications KPIs

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in digital B2B marketing, preferably in political, governmental or association-related environments
  • Experience with paid social, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), newsletter tools and targeted stakeholder communication
  • Strong understanding of political processes
  • Ideally experience in security, defense or industrial communications
  • Confident digital storytelling, analytical thinking and creative ideation
  • Team-oriented, communicative and skilled at clearly articulating complex content
