About the role

  • Sales Engineer supporting customer engagement for Syskit’s enterprise software, particularly in Microsoft 365 management and security compliance. Ideal for someone early in their Sales Engineering career with a strong technical foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical win throughout the sales cycle by aligning customer requirements with our solutions
  • Deliver tailored technical presentations and live demos based on customer scenarios and use cases
  • Support existing customers with technical guidance, solution design, and best practice recommendations
  • Represent the company at conferences, events, and customer meetings by delivering demos and technical sessions
  • Confidently engage in security, compliance, and risk discussions with IT, security, and governance stakeholders
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires by explaining: Data access and security models, Encryption, auditability, and compliance considerations, SaaS shared responsibility principles
  • Translate real-world customer challenges into actionable feedback for Product and Developer teams
  • Assist with proof-of-concept activities, technical evaluations, and customer validation exercises
  • Continuously deepen knowledge of: Syskit products, Microsoft 365 architecture and limitations, Governance, security, and compliance best practices

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID
  • General understanding of how access, permissions, and sharing work across Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with Azure and cloud fundamentals commonly used in SaaS platforms
  • Basic awareness of identity, networking, and data concepts in Azure
  • Ability to think beyond features and discuss security, compliance, and risk at a high level
  • Architectural mindset with the ability to explain Microsoft 365 capabilities and when third party solutions make sense
  • Comfortable learning and adapting as Microsoft 365 and Azure continue to evolve
  • Nice to have: Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market customers
  • Nice to have: Experience participating in vendor risk assessments or security reviews
  • Nice to have: Experience delivering demos at events or conferences
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with sales processes and CRM tools
