About the role

  • Trust and Estates Manager consulting on estate and income taxes for High Net Worth families. Overseeing projects from planning to implementation, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing client projects from engagement planning to implementation and beyond
  • Develop and manage an engagement plan for implementation
  • Coordinating client and tax service line team schedules to ensure the proper resources are available for the appropriate projects
  • Understand and establish priorities
  • Identify resource requirements and assign staffing consultants to projects
  • Monitor performance of project tasks
  • Identifying, tracking, and managing action items, issues, and risks, and serving as liaison between the client team and our internal service team to resolve all in a timely manner
  • Preparing and sending weekly status reports
  • Collaborating with peers to ensure our team is exceeding clients’ expectations
  • Delivering projects on time and within the budget
  • Professional development through community organizational involvement and business solicitation
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5 or more years’ experience in tax and accounting working with businesses and High Net Worth families in planning and compliance roles
  • Typical education backgrounds include bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields that demonstrate an understanding of tax and planning processes
  • Certified as a CPA or EA
  • Experience in staff supervision and training
