About the role

  • Key Account Manager for OEMs and Tier-1 customers in automotive interior lighting solutions. Focused on building client relationships and managing complex sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic development and expansion of key customers (OEMs, Tier‑1)
  • Management of existing customer relationships on both technical and commercial levels
  • Coordination and responsibility for acquisition and series projects in the area of interior lighting
  • Price and contract negotiations as well as management of complex sales processes
  • Collaboration with development and project teams to implement customer‑specific solutions
  • Market and competitor analyses; identification of new business and product opportunities
  • Reporting, forecasting and responsibility for sales/revenue

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management within the automotive sector, ideally in interior lighting or optoelectronics
  • Solid knowledge of automotive processes (APQP, IATF 16949, VDA)
  • Strong customer orientation, willingness to travel and experience in an international environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong closing skills and a structured working style
  • Fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage
