Technology Manager responsible for aligning technical requirements in wind turbine installation and commissioning. Collaborating with international teams to develop innovative solutions for efficient processes.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical representative for Installation & Commissioning within product development and work closely with regional teams
Consolidate all technical requirements from other Nordex teams (O2 team, Supervision, Commissioning and regional teams) into a clear deliverable
Ensure the technical implementation of these requirements within the Product Development Process (PEP)
Provide electrical expertise during development, prototype and installation phases of new products, tools or processes
Participate in SE team meetings as the central I&C stakeholder and coordinate the involvement of relevant technical parties
Manage prototypes, interior and mock-up tests on site as the I&C focal point
Analyze findings from prototypes and track the implementation of technical improvements
Develop new technical solutions to optimize installation and commissioning technologies and support cost-reduction initiatives
Requirements
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
At least 3–5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in technical development projects; experience as a Site Manager is desirable
Experience with CAD/PLM systems (Teamcenter, AutoCAD), MS Office, MS Project and SAP
Structured, process- and solution-oriented working style and ability to collaborate in international teams
Strong communication skills and fluent English, both written and spoken
Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese or German) are an advantage
