About the role

  • Staff Implementation Engineer leading deployments of Vocera communication solutions across hospitals in Australia. Working with clinicians and IT teams to enhance communication and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, installation, configuration and validation of Vocera communication systems.
  • Work with clinical teams to understand workflows and turn requirements into scalable system designs.
  • Integrate Vocera with nurse call, patient monitoring, EHRs, phone systems and other hospital technologies.
  • Deliver clear, engaging training to customer IT teams and support staff.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, optimise system performance and support customers through complex challenges.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, project teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor internal colleagues and contribute to a strong, collaborative team culture.
  • Maintain the highest standards of data security and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in technical support or implementation across Windows & Linux environments
  • Experience in healthcare highly advantageous
  • Strong networking skills
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, network security and load balancers highly advantageous
  • Experience integrating nurse call or monitoring systems highly regarded
