About the role
- Data Integration Architect responsible for implementing agency data engineering solutions including data platform evaluation and enterprise data architecture. Role involves collaboration with IT teams and alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Agency data engineering solutions, including data platform evaluation, selection recommendations, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture development
- Serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for shaping and advancing the Agency’s data ecosystem through scalable, secure, and well-governed data design practices
- Make technical decisions affecting configuration and implementation of data analytics environments, data platforms, integration systems, and environment-specific data storage solutions
- Collaborate with IT Architecture staff, the Agency CIO, and IT Managers to design data solutions aligned with agency business needs, enterprise standards, and long-term architectural direction
- Assist in evaluating solution designs, contributing to business case analysis, and recommending IT architecture improvements
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the Agency’s enterprise data architecture roadmap
Requirements
- At least five (5) years of proven experience related to data integration, data cleansing, data classification, and data modeling
- Experience with Salesforce platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Environments including Azure and Dynamics
- Experience with StreamSets data integration pipelines
- Experience with Snowflake data platform
- Experience with Tableau analytics integration
