About the role

  • Marketing Manager leading Spokane Sports' marketing and communications efforts. Responsible for strategy translation, campaign execution, and team management.

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing Manager owns the day-to-day leadership of Spokane Sports’ marketing and communications function.
  • This role is responsible for translating organizational strategy into clear marketing priorities, leading campaign planning and execution, and ensuring brand consistency across events, platforms, and partners.
  • Reporting to the Associate Vice President, the Marketing Manager directly manages the Marketing Coordinator and serves as the primary decision-maker for marketing workflows, sequencing, and quality control.
  • Oversee planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and community platforms.
  • Ensure day-to-day marketing decisions align with established brand strategy and organizational direction set by leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role preferred.
  • Experience working in or closely with an agency or agency-style environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and inspire staff.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and creative software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent Spokane Sports in public and professional settings.
