About the role

  • Technical Product Owner managing product backlog for whistleblowing and case management platform. Collaborate with product team to develop buildable features and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for your product area, prioritising work based on impact, risk, and learning
  • Translate product direction and problem statements into clear, actionable, and technically sound user stories and feature definitions
  • Lead discovery and definition for features within your scope, including: User needs and success criteria, System behaviour, edge cases, and constraints, High-level technical approaches and dependencies
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to: Explore solution options and trade-offs, Validate feasibility and complexity early, Refine features throughout development
  • Work on technically complex areas of the product, such as: AI-assisted features, APIs and integrations, Authentication, permissions, and SSO, Workflows, automations, and configuration, Security, privacy, and compliance-related functionality
  • Act as the primary point of contact for how your part of the product works; not just what it does
  • Present product ideas, designs, and demos to stakeholders across the business
  • Coordinate internal release communication and contribute to clear, timely product releases

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a product role (e.g. Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Product role)
  • Proven experience taking complex features from idea to production in an agile environment
  • Strong ability to understand and reason about technical concepts without needing to code
  • Experience working on products involving: APIs or system integrations, Access control, permissions, or security concepts, Complex workflows or rules-based systems
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up environment, where processes evolve and ambiguity is part of the job
  • Curious by nature, with a strong desire to understand how systems work end-to-end
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts simply and challenge assumptions when needed
  • A genuine interest in empowering individuals to speak up and drive positive change.
