About the role

  • As a Presales Consultant, guide customers in Belgium and France towards effective Spacewell solutions. Build trust and remove technical barriers while delivering high-quality demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and understand the technical and functional needs, use cases, and business processes of prospects and customers.
  • Advise customers on the technical aspects of the Spacewell portfolio and translate requirements into a coherent solution design within the available budget.
  • Build and deliver compelling product demos and presentations that clearly show the functionality and benefits of the proposed solution.
  • Create supporting technical documentation (solution descriptions, architectures, scopes, effort indications) to underpin proposals from the Sales team.
  • Answer in depth technical questions and provide clear, honest guidance on to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales on proposals, value cases, and deal strategy, and support them throughout the full presales cycle up to contract signature.
  • Coordinate non standard requirements with Product, Development, Professional Services, and where relevant Security/CISO, and translate this into a realistic, deliverable scope.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of the sold solution to Professional Services, including clear documentation and participation in internal handover meetings.
  • Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders at the customer to refine understanding of their challenges and adjust the proposed solution where needed.
  • Contribute to revenue growth and win rates by positioning the right technical solutions and by delivering high quality demos and interactions that increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in a presales, solution consulting, or similar customer facing technical role in IT or SaaS.
  • Strong technical expertise and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, business oriented way to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Proven problem solving skills: you can analyse customer challenges and design creative, feasible solutions that align with product capabilities.
  • Experience with solution based selling and supporting Sales in building proposals, running demos, and closing deals.
  • Affinity with building operations, facility management, energy management, or related domains is a plus.
  • Customer centric mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and a hands on attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; fluency in English and French is required.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and events in France and Belgium.
