About the role

  • Commercial Consultant working with sales for private schools in northeastern Brazil. Focusing on educational solutions and school engagement to enhance learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a commercial specialist and sales consultant for private schools in the Northeast region.
  • Present SOMOS Educação's textbooks, editorial proposals, and educational solutions to school administrators, owners, coordinators, and teachers.
  • Conduct active prospecting and commercial visits (in-person and virtual) to open and continuously develop opportunities.
  • Prepare customized commercial proposals aligned with the schools' pedagogical and strategic needs.
  • Lead meetings, executive presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with school administrators and owners.
  • Work consultatively, understanding the school's pedagogical project and recommending appropriate solutions from the SOMOS Educação portfolio.
  • Use CRM to log activities, track the pipeline, and ensure predictable results.
  • Organize visit routes, travel, and schedules to ensure a strategic presence in the region.
  • Master the textbooks, programs, digital platforms, and other solutions in the SOMOS Educação portfolio.
  • Participate in events, educational fairs, and commercial strategic actions.
  • Work toward achieving the region's commercial targets and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial roles, preferably with consultative sales to private schools or within the education market.
  • Knowledge of the publishing market and familiarity with textbooks and educational solutions.
  • Proven ability to deliver effective presentations to administrators, owners, and pedagogical teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM tools and WhatsApp Business.
  • Full availability to travel within the Northeast region.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a consultative approach.
  • Organization, autonomy, results orientation, and the ability to manage a portfolio.
