Responsibilities
- Assessing end-to-end business processes, considering what-can-go-wrong questions to identify key risks, mitigating controls, and potential gaps
- Utilizing data analytics and other tools to assess risk, control design adequacy and effectiveness
- Demonstrating curiosity by challenging current practices and recommending improvements to mitigate risks
- Helps identify and execute initiatives to improve existing processes within the Risk team
- Working as part of a team to execute these objectives, including collaborating with the business
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree required
- 3-5 years’ industry experience (e.g., Audit or other Risk related role)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and priorities
- Knowledgeable and experience in data analysis techniques, executive reporting, and use of visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau)
