About the role

  • Risk Manager overseeing Outokumpu’s global risk management practices and collaborating with various business stakeholders. Ensuring effective risk identification and mitigation in all operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive common risk management practices globally across the organization, including strengthening regular dialogue with key business stakeholders and facilitating risk management workshops for leadership teams
  • Manage and develop global risk and control processes and policies, including communication and trainings
  • Drive risk and control management platform implementation and development including supporting users and optimize risk data management
  • Lead Risk & Control Coordinator network together with Internal Control Manager
  • Work closely together with 2nd defence line functions to ensure alignment and efficiency in building common Outokumpu practices
  • Participate in Global insurance portfolio management

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate risk management, insurances or other relevant processes in Finance or Business
  • Experience in developing processes and embedding new practicalities into organizations
  • Very good people and communication skills with motivation to influence on different stakeholders
  • Enjoy developing and implement new initiatives
  • Positive and proactive attitude with high ambition to achieve targets
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering or a relevant field
