About the role
- Proposal Manager leading significant bids within the European Bid Team at a sustainability consultancy. Driving proposals with flexibility for hybrid working in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary and large single service opportunities from capture to submission
- Undertake research on clients, projects and competitors
- Develop and implement bid/win strategies
- Influence and communicate at all levels, including senior members of the business
- Develop and manage a bid programme and monitor/report on progress
- Ensure all reviews and governance are adhered to
- Manage all meetings and approvals
- Work with technical staff to convert knowledge to high scoring content
- Provide authorship of some aspects of the bid
- Oversee inputs of bid coordinators/administrators
- Actively contribute to the bid library, lessons learned, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in bid or proposal management or a proven coordinator looking for their next step up
- Solid understanding of public tendering and bidding best practice
- APMP certification would also be an advantage
- Adobe InDesign knowledge is beneficial
