About the role

  • Proposal Manager leading significant bids within the European Bid Team at a sustainability consultancy. Driving proposals with flexibility for hybrid working in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary and large single service opportunities from capture to submission
  • Undertake research on clients, projects and competitors
  • Develop and implement bid/win strategies
  • Influence and communicate at all levels, including senior members of the business
  • Develop and manage a bid programme and monitor/report on progress
  • Ensure all reviews and governance are adhered to
  • Manage all meetings and approvals
  • Work with technical staff to convert knowledge to high scoring content
  • Provide authorship of some aspects of the bid
  • Oversee inputs of bid coordinators/administrators
  • Actively contribute to the bid library, lessons learned, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bid or proposal management or a proven coordinator looking for their next step up
  • Solid understanding of public tendering and bidding best practice
  • APMP certification would also be an advantage
  • Adobe InDesign knowledge is beneficial
