About the role

  • Technical Sales Manager developing innovative sales concepts for vacuum coating systems at SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES. Collaborating with international partners, focusing on Asia and the development of new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the needs of our business partners and develop corresponding sales concepts based on our existing product portfolio
  • Identify new customer- and market-specific requirements to drive the further development of our existing product portfolio through product management and R&D
  • Manage sales projects and business partners worldwide, with a focus on Asia, across industry and research sectors—from initial contact through to contract closing
  • Systematically expand and grow your sales network and customer base through regular customer visits and participation in conferences, trade shows, etc.
  • Provide dedicated support and training to our local sales organizations within your territory, both from the back office and on site

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Physics/Electrical/Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent qualification with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong technical understanding and solid knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering, vacuum coating technology, or solar cell technology
  • Several years of successful experience in selling technically complex capital equipment, with a strong customer focus
  • Motivated, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and openness to new ideas
  • Intercultural competence and persuasiveness, plus business-fluent English
  • Willingness to travel to customers, trade shows and conferences
