About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide support to cooperatives and members on products involving Foreign Exchange (FX) and International Trade
- Liaise with internal bank areas (Risk, Accounting, Tax, Finance, Treasury, etc.)
- Good judgment and flexibility to handle urgent requests, ensuring clarity and security with speed
- High capacity to adapt to regulatory updates
- Daily reconciliation of foreign currency bank statements
- Review of the accounting trial balance and daily reconciliations, ensuring accuracy
- Proper handling of Internal Controls demands for the area (Legal documents, summaries, audit responses, accounting reports, etc.)
- Ability to connect accounting knowledge with FX routines, reconciliations, internal controls and resolution of operational discrepancies
Requirements
- Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Accounting, International Trade, Business Administration or Economics
- Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of SQL and SAP is a plus
- Strong data analysis skills
- Experience in the financial market is desirable
- Intermediate or advanced English
- Ability to relate to diverse audiences/stakeholders
- Ability to remain calm and respond positively in a high-pressure environment
- Good organizational judgment and ability to manage concurrent tasks are essential
- Knowledge of the Change (Exchange) system is a plus
- Knowledge of the main types and modalities of foreign exchange transactions and their respective implications is a plus
