About the role

  • Channel Management Specialist for Shure in Japan focusing on revenue growth through strategic partnerships. Responsible for managing channel partners and leading marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and channel management plans to achieve business objectives
  • Drive growth through channel sales initiatives, including direct engagement with partners
  • Manage and support channel partners in the Unified Communication (UC) and Consumer Retail segments, including pricing negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with channel partners
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities at the channel partner level
  • Collaborate with Shure Japan marketing and product teams to create and execute promotional campaigns
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product inventory, pricing, features, and technical specifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in IT distribution, audio, electronics, SaaS or related industries
  • Proven track record in channel sales and management
  • Strong understanding of the Unified Communications (UC) sector
  • Familiarity with content creator and music industry landscape is a plus.
  • Experience with online sales platforms
  • Knowledge of consumer retail visual merchandising
  • Awareness of the latest trends in UC and consumer electronics markets
  • Creative and innovative mindset with strong technical affinity
  • Positive attitude and team player with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese
  • Good written English skills for email communication; basic conversation level is acceptable
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed.
