About the role

  • Business Partner for project & cost controlling at Semmel Concerts Entertainment. Strategic partner for management and finance team in optimizing costs and controlling projects.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic and operational sparring partner for management, the finance department and project managers with a focus on financial control and cost optimization
  • Lead a well-coordinated two-person controlling team with distinct areas of responsibility
  • Continuously analyze and evaluate project and process costs and develop corresponding recommendations for action
  • Assess the profitability of contract awards, contractual agreements and the invoicing/billing documents of our service providers
  • Independently collect, prepare and analyze data to support strategic decision-making
  • Report to the publicly listed holding company CTS Eventim

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, economics, finance or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of experience in finance, controlling, project & cost controlling or similar roles; ideally in medium-sized companies with project-based business or service offerings
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical curiosity when questioning and optimizing cost structures
  • Interest in the events industry
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with advanced tools such as Power BI is desirable
