About the role
- Open-Source Investigations Analyst for Seerist, focusing on research for political, security, and operational risks. Collaborating with teams to analyze misinformation sources and produce analytical reports.
Responsibilities
- Identify and obtain access to online media sources relevant to Seerist’s customer base
- Analyze misinformation sources and networks, assessing their influence on the information and security environments
- Maintain understanding of the changing ways mainstream and alternative social media platforms are used
- Contribute to developing and maintaining analytical products on security and geopolitical risk
- Work with Customer Success and New Business teams to support Seerist’s growth
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in security risk analysis or open-source investigations for security risk management
- Strong experience producing written security analysis reports with a focus on clarity, precision, and actionable insights
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to make informed assessments when information is incomplete or uncertain
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of geopolitical issues, with the ability to connect this to source collection

- Proficiency in an additional language beyond English (desired)
- Experience working with Product, Development, and Data Science teams (desired)
- Experience in a Due Diligence or Corporate Investigations role (desired)
