About the role
- Cloud Solution Developer responsible for building Big Data solutions at SEB in Riga. Developing and maintaining data pipelines while contributing to cloud solutions in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Build large-scale Big Data solutions for both streaming and batch data using modern technologies.
- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and Big Data systems.
- Perform efficient and high-quality analysis of large-scale transactional data.
- Participate in the migration of existing solutions to cloud-based platforms and contribute to cloud solution development.
Requirements
- Experienced in programming with Java (additional will be good experience with Scala, Python).
- Some experience working with Cloud Solutions and infrastructure as code.
- Your enjoy sharing your knowledge on Big Data tech and tools, and you have an interest in taking on larger responsibilities within agile development.
- We at SEB work agile with SAFe and it is a plus if you have experience of working within the SAFe framework.
- Fluent English in verbal and written and good communication skills. Work execution is related to foreign countries.
- This role includes close contact with your team and other stakeholders, therefore we believe that you are a person with great communication and documentation skills who likes to cooperate with others.
