About the role

  • Chief Marketing Officer leading marketing strategy and team building for EdTech product. Overseeing user acquisition, engagement, and positioning while ensuring sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a product-first, full-funnel marketing strategy aligned with business and product goals
  • Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for a web-based EdTech product
  • Drive user acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and LTV growth
  • Establish clear KPIs and OKRs across the marketing funnel and ensure consistent execution
  • Own demand generation across paid, organic, content, partnerships, and lifecycle channels
  • Build data-driven processes for ROI tracking, funnel analytics, cohort analysis, and experimentation
  • Lead growth experiments, A/B testing frameworks, and rapid iteration loops
  • Partner with Analytics to define attribution, segmentation, and reporting standards
  • Build, scale, and manage the marketing organization from scratch
  • Hire and mentor senior leaders and specialists across marketing disciplines
  • Partner with Product on go-to-market strategy, feature launches, pricing, and user insights
  • Own brand strategy, storytelling, and tone of voice across all channels

Requirements

  • 5+ years in senior marketing leadership roles (CMO, Head of Marketing, VP Marketing, Growth Lead)
  • Proven experience in product-led growth, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or web-based platforms
  • Strong track record of building and scaling marketing teams from scratch
  • Deep expertise in full-funnel marketing: acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization
  • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in modern marketing analytics and experimentation
  • Strong understanding of digital growth ecosystems, performance channels, and lifecycle marketing
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution in fast-scaling environments
  • English level of B2 or higher
