About the role

  • Supplier Account Management Lead managing operational performance and commercial growth of suppliers at Saltz Marketplace. Driving supplier GMV expansion with a hands-on, leadership approach in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key suppliers on the marketplace
  • Ensure smooth order fulfilment and operational excellence across your supplier portfolio
  • Own demand forecasting and demand prediction logic in collaboration with Sales
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance (availability, refunds, service quality, fulfilment reliability)
  • Build systems and processes for supplier performance tracking and optimisation
  • Lead and coordinate a small account managers team (1–2 people)
  • Drive supplier GMV expansion through structured initiatives and co-promotion campaigns
  • Identify underperformance risks and implement corrective action plans

Requirements

  • Experience in account management, operations, supply chain, or supplier management roles
  • Strong organisational and operational mindset
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadership
  • Analytical thinking and comfort working with performance metrics
  • Experience managing external partners or vendors
  • Process-driven and systems-oriented approach
  • SQL or strong data querying skills are a strong advantage
