Responsibilities
Support Port and Rail Operations in Port Hedland
Provide practical advice, ensure compliance with legislation, and help leaders navigate challenges
Deliver HR processes, manage employee movements, and resolve issues quickly and effectively
Work closely with leaders and employees of all levels in a dynamic mining environment
Involved in everything from day-to-day transactional tasks to supporting more complex people matters
Requirements
Demonstrable experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in mining or resources
Willingness to learn and develop skills in performance management, employee relations, and HR processes
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with leaders and team members
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced site environment
An understanding of employment legislation, with a desire to grow knowledge in IR/ER matters
Confident using Microsoft Office, in particular Power BI and Excel and able to learn HR systems quickly
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Commerce, or working towards completion will be beneficial
